Title of section for this section 12 SEPTEMBER Teen Tech: Personalized Tumbler Wednesday, September 18 5–7:00 PM | Learning Lab Keep hydrated as you swing back into the school year with a personalized 20-ounce tumbler. Short Circuit Scavenger Hunt Friday, September 20 6–7:30 PM Search the library for all the components to assemble a working circuit powered item. Teams will race to finish theirs first to win! Mini Pumpkin Basket Crochet-a-Long Wednesday, September 25 6–8:00 PM Craft a cute lidded pumpkin container, big enough to hold some Halloween treats. You provide the Size H8/5 mm and Size G6/4 mm crochet hooks, we’ll provide the rest! Previous crochet experience required. Building the College List (for families who won’t qualify for need-based aid) + FAFSA Thursday, September 26 7–8:30 PM Teen Grades 9–12 Amber Gilsdorf and Jamie Kirby of Estrela Consulting lead a workshop on demonstrated strategies for building a list with the bottom line in mind. We’ll also touch on the latest updates to the FAFSA and what to expect in the months ahead for this year’s senior class. Teen Programs Unless otherwise noted, all programs are for teens in Grades 7–12, require registration, and will be held in the Library Community Room.
