Birdwatching Walk with Ohio Nature Education Friday, September 24 | 6-7:00 PM All Ages | Denison Bio Reserve Join representatives from Ohio Nature Education as we enjoy an evening of birdwatching. The Library will be holding a book sale on Saturday, September 25 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Most of the items for sale have been withdrawn from our collection to make room on our shelves. We will have books from all genres for all ages - fiction, non-fiction, mystery, and more! You will even find recent bestsellers that we purchased multiple copies of in order to fill demand. From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, items will be sold by the bagful for $5.00 per bag. Funds raised are used to support library activies, such as our annual Summer Library program. Who does the Book Sale benefit? BOOK SALE A LA CART Saturday, September 25 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM TWEEN TECH: LED Magic Wand Friday, October 8 | 4-6:00 PM | Grades 4-6 | Sinnett House Patio Make magic with the flip of a switch and build LED magic wands. TEEN 3D Print: Cura Slicers & Operating a 3D Printer Thursday, October 14 | 5-7:00 PM | Grades 7-12 | Learning Lab This is a next-step style class for those who have had experience using Tinkercad. We will take a model we created in Tinkercad through the Cura Slicer program to prep it for the 3D printer. Taking this class will qualify you to reserve time to 3D print on your own using our Dremel 3D printers starting in October. ADULT 3D PRINT: Stamps Thursday, October 21 | 5-7:00 PM | Learning Lab We will be creating small stamps in TinkerCad using two types of filament. Stamps will be printed on our new dual-color 3D printer. OCTOBER TECHNOLOGY CLASSES. Registration required - www.GranvilleLibrary.org/calendar/month. TWEEN TECH: Make a Steady Hand Game Thursday, September16 | 5-7:00 PM | Grades 4-6 | Learning Lab We will create an easy electronic project with household objects. Use it to challenge yourself or friends and family! ADULT 3D PRINT: Cura Slicers & Operating a 3D Printer Thursday, September 23 | 5-7:00 PM | Learning Lab This is a next-step style class for those who have had experience using Tinkercad. We will go over how to prep your project in Tinkercad so that two colors will be used. The tags will be printed on our new dual-color 3D printer. This class is best taken on a home computer.
