You asked, we listened. Response to the library’s recent community survey overwhelmingly asked for Sunday hours. As a result, the library will be open Sundays from 1-5:00 p.m. beginning September 8. Other changes to library hours. In order to keep the change to Sunday hours as cost-neutral as possible, library hours will be shortened to 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday hours will remain the same (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). This adjustment eliminates the library’s least utilized evening hours. Shortened weekday hours will begin following Labor Day on Tuesday, September 3. Available services on Sundays. Patrons will be able to check out materials, use study spaces, and non-profit and community groups will be able to book meeting rooms. Open the “Hole” Week.
