New Year, New Programs. As we enter 2020, we are pleased to introduce some new initiatives in programming for all ages. Children’s Department. Kids and their families can join us for our new monthly Family Movie Nights, make a monthly themed creation during Get Crafty, and stop in for a Saturday Morning Special program for little ones. Tweens in grades 4-6 can register to attend the new S.T.E.A.M. Club to learn how to make tech-related crafts. Teens. First Fridays are becoming Final Fridays! We’re moving this popular pro- gram to the end of the month and will continue to offer a fun variety of events for teens in grades 7-12. Adults. Interested in starting a business but don’t know where to begin? Join us for our new Launch talk series to learn the ins and outs of getting your business off the ground. Also new is the Pages & Pints book club (formerly Community Book Club). There’s something for everyone at the library. We look forward to seeing you in the new year! Something for Everyone in 2020! COSI Workshop: Animal Tales Mon. Jan. 20 | 9:30-10:30 AM | Pre-school-Grade 2 Registration required and limited to 30 children with an accompanying adult (no more than 2 kids per adult) In this wild hands-on program, encounter habitats, adapta- tions, and the science behind what all living things need. Indoor Snowball Fight Mon. Jan.20 | 1-2:00 PM | Grades K-6 No need to bundle up for this indoor snowball fight. All Together Now: Puzzle Competition Fri. Jan. 24 | 6-8:00 PM | Two Age Groups Registration Required— www.GranvilleLibrary.org/calendar Teams will compete to be the first to finish their jigsaw puz- zle. Create your own team of 6 or we’ll assign you to one. We’ll be running two sessions concurrently — in the Children’s Department for families with kids in Grades K & up (750 pc puzzle) and in the Reading Room for those in Grades 7-Adult (1000 pc puzzle).
