Engage in interactive wellness practices that will uplift your spirits, cultivate an attitude of gratitude, and foster meaningful social connections. Jack Wheeler, DSW, LISW-S is a local mental health professional, board member of Mental Health America Licking County, member of the county Suicide LOSS Team. His doctorate focuses on holistic communitylevel well-being initiatives. Aromatherapy Crafts Thursday, January 23 6–8:00 PM Create aromatherapy crafts. Yoga Basics Tuesday, January 28 6:20–7:30 PM Curious about yoga but feeling intimidated? Carolyn Hamstead, will teach basic yoga poses and myriad benefits of yoga. Plus, you’ll leave super-relaxed! Carolyn has been practicing yoga for 35 years and teaching for 14 years. She has an E-RYT-200 certification from the Yoga Alliance of North America and a 125-hour certification from YogaUOnline as a Yoga Wellness Educator. She’s also a registered nurse. If possible, participants should bring their own yoga mat and a yoga strap or 6-ft. long scarf/necktie. Arrive by 6:20 PM to sign a liability waiver and set up your mat. Class will begin at 6:30 PM. FEBRUARY Crochet-a-Long: Snail with Heart Shell Tuesday, February 4 6–8:00 PM Just in time for Valentine’s Day! Create an adorable snail with a heart shell. You provide the 4mm/G-6 crochet hook, we’ll supply the rest. Previous crochet experience required. Adult Programs Teens are welcome to attend these programs.
