Climate change presents us with a major political challenge and, indeed, a threat to the very viability of our world. How might we confront it? In this talk, Professor Wainwright will examine climate change as a political-economic problem and consider the likely consequences of climate change for the world's political order.

Joel Wainwright is a professor in the department of geography at Ohio State University. He is author, most recently, of Climate Leviathan: A Political Theory of our Planetary Future (Verso), which was awarded the Sussex prize for international theory.
