Since we can't meet in person to discuss our March book and get our April discussion book, we thought we would choose an e-book we can read and discuss at our April meeting.

Since many of the stories we are hearing during this COVID-19 crisis are reminiscent of the full-on cooperation by US citizens during World War 2, we decided to choose a book about the efforts by unusual collaborations to get the job done by any means possible.

Information Hunters, by Kathy Piess is newly published by Oxford Press, and is about spies, soldiers and librarians that work together to help end the war. It is an "always available" title via the Granville Public Library's Digital Downloads catalog. Here is how to get it:

1. Learn how to get the Libby app for your Android or Apple device by clicking here: https://help.overdrive.com/en-us/1307.html

2. Once you have the Libby app, look for the Granville Public Library (make sure you pick the Ohio one!). Finding our library will inform you that we are in the Digital Downloads consortium. Then, you must find Granville Public Library again within the libraries in the consortium. Or choose another library in the consortium where you have a card.

3. Login with your card number and PIN

4. Search for our book Information Hunters. It will be the only result.

5. Click borrow and then confirm that you want to borrow it.

6. Choose between reading on a Kindle device or on your own device.

7. Start reading!

Register on-line for the program (include an email address) and zoom meeting id will be mailed to you an hour before the meeting.
