For November, we are reading "The Life and Crimes of Hoodie Rosen" by Isaac Blum. Hoodie has moved to a new town where his Orthodox Jewish family and community feel less than welcome. When he falls for a girl with a different background than his, he finds himself caught in the middle of a larger social debate. See Mrs. Bice for a copy or pick one up at the library's main desk.
Seventh and Eighth graders are welcome to join book club anytime during the school year!
