Story Times

Our story times are a great way to combine fun with learning activities and foster your child's love of reading and our library. We offer story times for children ages birth through five.

Baby Lap Time (ages birth to 18 months):
Baby Lap Time at GPL features rhymes, movement activities, books, songs, and playtime. The first 20 minutes will be devoted to structured group activities and the last 30 minutes will be open play time. It will be held every Tuesday at 10 AM from June 3 - August 23, 2013.

Toddler Story Time (ages 18 to 36 months):
Toddler Story Time meets on Thursdays at 10 AM from June 3 - August 23, 2013. Children 18 months to 36 months meet with a parent or caregiver for an introduction to story time activities. Our Toddler Story Time program is a fantastic opportunity to meet other parents and  enjoy one of your child's first group activities.

Preschool Story Time (ages 3 to 5 years):
At Preschool Story Time we use interactive songs, rhymes, and books to engage your little one. We will incorporate the practices of singing, talking, reading, writing, and play to support your child's developing literacy. Preschool Story Time will be held every Wednesday at 10 AM from June 3 to August 23.
