Library Cards
If you are an Ohio resident, we invite you to apply for a Granville Public Library card. It's free to join.
To obtain a library card, adults (aged 18 and over) must have photo identification with current address. Photo IDs include a driver's license, state ID or military ID. If the address on your ID is not current, please bring in a document that validates your current address, such as a piece of mail, an account statement or car registration.
Children ages 3-17 must have a parent or guardian with them and their parent/guardian (if not already a GPL card holder) must have identification with verification of his/her current address at the time of registration.
Use of a GPL library card indicates your willingness to accept responsibility for items borrowed and fines incurred. Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately to prevent fraudulent use. Parents and guardians are responsible for their youngsters' selection of materials and the fines and fees accrued on their cards.
Please read our Circulation Policies for more details about obtaining a library card.
